The mosque provides an introduction service for Muslims of all ages and ethnic backgrounds (British Citizens or Indefinite stay holders only). Clients find their ideal partner via the mosque’s Marriage Bureau. Volunteers using a database of registered prospective partners and initiated meetings. The mosque also provides marriage registration services cementing partnerships according to Islamic and civil matrimony. The mosque is linked with the Registrar of marriages for conducting legally recognised civil Muslim marriages and issues certificates on behalf of the Registrar.

For the convenience of families, we have arranged to sit for new Marriage Bureau sessions every Friday evening. This new service is restricted to families jointly finding partners for their children or siblings.
We at Birmingham Central Mosque also arrange Muslim Marriage Events, at least one in every three months.
These events have been found very effective and quick way of finding suitable marriage partners. Individuals normally come with their family members or “Mehrams” and have one to one meeting with the prospects.

Once you have succeeded finding a suitable marriage partner, then comes the real procedure of Islamic Nikkah and Marriage Solemnisation (Registration). Birmingham Central Mosque is an authorised venue for conducting both marriages together at the same time.
