Ask Imaam

Question: Assalaam alaiykum thankyou for your response. I''ll appreciate it. I would like to ask a question- should you read isha namaz on time It''s just that I''ve read somewhere that if you read late namaz for isha you get more sawaab as your duas are most likely to be accepted Is this true I know most other prayer times should be read on time however I like to read isha prayer late at night- I feel peacefull and closer to Allah.

Assalamu alaikum

Thank you for this question. It is true what you asked. In this case isha is not late, rather the time of isha is longer than the rest of the prayers. This late night is also the part of isha. But there is a problem. It is only possible if you live away from any mosque. Or otherwise, it is compulsory to join jamat and the reward of jamat is far more greater than even this late night isha.

Wassalam
